Cyber War Center continues to expand its mission based simulation experience with two new mission packs designed for different stages of cyber readiness: Mission Control and First Watch. Together, these releases support both professional project delivery readiness and early cyber defense career development, giving organizations, students, and practitioners a more practical way to build capability through structured simulation work.
Mission Control is the Cybersecurity Project Delivery Mission Pack built for Project and Program Management Professionals who must coordinate cybersecurity work across teams, timelines, stakeholders, and outcomes. This mission pack focuses on the discipline of bringing cyber projects from planning to measurable readiness. Participants are challenged to coordinate the mission, validate the outcome, and demonstrate readiness through structured decision-making, communication, documentation, and defensible delivery practices.
First Watch is the Begin Your First Watch Mission Pack created for Cyber Defense Technician learners and early career cyber practitioners. This release helps students start the Cyber Defense Technician pathway by introducing them to practical cyber defense readiness through simulation-based learning. The mission is not to overwhelm new learners, but to help them observe carefully, think clearly, document responsibly, and begin developing the habits needed for real cyber defense work.
