Welcome
You don’t need years of experience to start thinking like an engineer. The School of Engineering Cyber Defense is ISAUnited’s modern, 100% online learning hub for college learners and early-entry practitioners who want clear steps, practical skills, and a real portfolio—not just certificates.
We focus on cybersecurity architecture and engineering. Our curriculum is laser-focused on CAE—architecture, engineering, and defensible design. We collaborate with GRC professionals, but GRC (governance, regulatory, and compliance) is not part of this program’s coursework - we keep it exciting ;).

Core Disciplines of Cyber Engineering
These are the disciplines that transform cybersecurity into an engineering discipline: model-first design, deliberate decision-making doctrine, design-risk governance, repeatable cyber-science evidence, and math-backed trade-offs. Every course in SECD uses this backbone, so you design with clarity and prove with data—not slogans.
Student Resources
One hub for ISAU Cyber Books + the ISAU Library. Read anywhere and build your portfolio faster with ready‑to‑use resources that tie directly into your courses and studios.

Ready to become an engineer—not just a tool user?
The School of Engineering Cyber Defense gives you a clear, finishable path: two Basics (Foundations—D10S and Defensible Essentials—TADA), your core program (Security by Design, Cybersecurity Engineering, or Cybersecurity Architecture) with Fundamentals + Advanced, then a Build & Test Capstone. It’s entirely online and self-paced, with mentors, studio reviews, and ISAU Library resources. By graduation, you’ll hold a portfolio of CDMs, CEC decisions, DRM logs, and measurable results—evidence employers trust and that maps directly to ISAUnited CPL licensing (CPCA/CPCE/SbD).
Join the ISAU Knights, learn like an engineer, and start building defensible systems today.
From Learning to Licensing
Two paths, one mission.
