New Cybersecurity Career Launch Program

Information Technology and Cybersecurity taught together under one curriculum

ISAUnited School of Engineering Cyber Defense is proud to introduce the Cyber Defense Technician Program, a 16 week online cybersecurity career launch program built for future practitioners.

What makes this program different is its foundation. Students do not learn cybersecurity in isolation. They first learn core Information Technology concepts, including systems, networks, endpoints, user access, cloud basics, and operational support. Then they continue into Cybersecurity Operations, including monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and practical defensive thinking.

This gives students a stronger start by helping them understand the technology organizations rely on and the cybersecurity practices used to help protect it. The program is designed for high school graduates, career changers, military transitioners, and early career learners seeking a structured path into cybersecurity.

This is not a memorize-the-book-and-pass-the-test model. It is real learning designed to help students understand the work, speak with confidence in interviews, and perform with readiness on the job.

Program highlights include:

• 16 week online format

• Information Technology and Cybersecurity under one curriculum

• Hands-on learning activities

• Cyber War Center learning simulations

• Certified Associate License pathway

• Lifetime ISAUnited membership
